ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our growing team in Birmingham, AL. This position will work closely with an Account Executive or Producer but will also have the ability to collaborate with our management team at the highest level. This person will not only manage a current and growing book of business, but also increase account retention and customer satisfaction. A successful Account Manager will be a natural relationship builder that will meet all performance targets regarding production and quality. The Account Manager will be responsible for day-to-day strategic coordination and execution of administrative and customer service activities for BoMont customers while optimizing current customer accounts. This person should be entrepreneurial-minded and capable of resolving complex customer service problems. This person is also a critical thinker who shows initiative in taking the next steps in the best interest of the client and carrier partner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and execute a variety of customer service, account management, risk management, and value-added service including but not limited to: account activity; policy administration and insurance placement; billing activity; claims administration; coverage/loss analysis; contract review for insurability; review policy forms and endorsements; review audits; identify errors and facilitate corrective actions; Certificates of Insurance; Evidences of Property; and Cancellation/Reinstatements

  • Foster relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Help coordinate the implementation process of new business and renewals, including renewal meetings, on boarding, and delivery of administrative resource materials.

  • Work effectively with the producer managing monthly renewal lists, while keeping the producer updated on major changes during the policy term.

  • Deliver excellent service at all times, including proactively anticipating needs, maintaining frequent and professional communication, and responding quickly to service requests

  • Processing correspondence from clients and carriers, policy changes, managing cancellation notices, certificates, audits, invoicing proposals.

  • Ensure clients are up-to-date on compliance requirements and industry changes through meetings, webinars, legislative updates and other resources.

  • Make proactive, regularly scheduled courtesy service calls to assigned accounts.

  • Provide administrative support on other tasks as they arise, such as assigned special projects, development of new ideas, services, and other projects, as requested.

  • Maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry and sales ideas through regular attendance at workshops, seminars, literature reviews and/or formal continuing education.

  • Perform other duties, tasks, responsibilities, and projects as assigned.
